About the offices of DiPiano Family Group P.C.

Attorney John G. DiPiano is a North Shore native.  As a Domestic Relations Attorney, he spent many years practicing in downtown Boston. He was a Senior Associate at Lane, Altman & Owens, LLP, a firm located in the heart of Boston’s Financial District.  He ventured out as a principal of a partnership located in downtown Boston thereafter.

Attorney DiPiano is past co-editor of Massachusetts Domestic Relations, 5th Edition, a practice guide for attorneys and the courts to consult on Massachusetts family law issues, statutes and case law.  He is a 1995 graduate of New England Law, cum laude where he was published in the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.  He was also designated by Boston Magazine’s Super Lawyers as a rising star and is a member of the Essex County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Attorney DiPiano has been appointed by various courts as a Guardian ad Litem and as a Special Master.   In addition to being an experienced and skilled trial attorney, Mr. DiPiano is also a trained and experienced mediator and has provided conciliation services through the Essex County Bar Association conciliation program.  Attorney DiPiano has lectured and participated in continuing legal education programs through the years.

Attorney DiPiano moved his practice out of Boston and established a suburban practice in large part because he believes that Boston-based firms, paying Boston-based expenses, often cost clients more money for representation due to higher operating costs, without delivering additional value in the quality of the legal representation.

At the offices of DiPiano Family Group P.C., clients can be confident that their family law matters will be handled with the utmost professionalism, as seen from these reviews:

“I was embroiled in a 2.5 year divorce that was going nowhere. I changed attorneys to Atty Dipiano and even though his rate was twice what I was paying a different lawyer, my billing was half as much. Atty Dipiano doesn’t waste time! […] He has the respect of his peers, the Judges in his area and especially his adversarial attorneys.”

Joseph

“John not only provided excellent legal services throughout a contentious divorce, but also was an emotional support through a very difficult process. John was always available and responsive and I would highly recommend him to anyone.”
